In 2002, Tom Carr and Mike and Louise Possegger (née Carr) opened the Farm Park at Spring Barn Farm.
The Carr family have been farming at Spring Barn since 1917, and the latest developments are just some of the diversifications that have happened during the past century. For example, Spring Barn was one of the first dairy farms in the area to start their own milk round, back in the 1950s! (We’ll be adding more photos and information to this page to show you how the farm has changed over the years, so watch this space..)
Now a heady mix of visitor attraction, farm shop, restaurant and campsite – and of course, working sheep farm – Spring Barn remains true to its farming roots: working hard, year round, to provide products we hope our customers will love. And whether the ‘product’ is a topside joint, a home-cooked meal, or a day out in the Sussex countryside, the principle remains the same.

Our campsite is situated up a quiet farm lane just outside the picturesque village of Mylor Bridge near the small town of Falmouth. The village itself boasts a good selection of Shops, Pubs and that most important small Village atmosphere.
Falmouth is a short 15 minute drive from the campsite itself, offering many different things for visitors to do from shopping to boat trips to St Mawes and the city of Truro.
Additionally if you don’t fancy the drive then why not hop on the bus that passes the end of the farm lane every two hours, you can get to Falmouth or Truro within minutes!

Each caravan has a well equipped kitchen, including a hob and cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, kettle, as well as all the crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils you may need. There is also plenty of storage room in the kitchen area for groceries. A television and DVD player are in each caravan.Bed linen and towels are not supplied in caravans, although they can be hired, in advance, at a cost of £10 per person. You will need to bring your own : duvet cover, under sheet, pillow cases and towels for each person, if you do not wish to hire them.

This caravan has 2 bedrooms, one double with en-suite bathroom (shower with seat and bi-fold door) and one twin bedroom (If only one bed is required the other may be stored, providing more space). Heating is provided in all rooms and the bathroom has a heated towel rail. A spacious lounge, kitchen and dining room make this a very cosy caravan in which to relax and enjoy your holiday.
Type B (No. 8) Willerby Richmond Mk 3 (28ftx12ft)
This spacious caravan has a bright, modern interior and is equipped to a very high standard. There are 2 bedrooms, one double with en-suite bathroom and one twin room. There is extra storage under the beds or one of the two singles can be placed under the other for wheelchair access. The under floor heating and a gas fire, make this an ideal choice for Spring and Autumn breaks. To aid mobility an access ramp has been provided from the patio area to the main door.
Type C ( No. 7) Willerby Westmorland (35ftx12ft)
This two bedroom caravan, has special adaptations for disabled guests. The large double bedroom has extra space around the bed suitable for a cot or wheelchair (An over-bed lifting aid can be placed in the bedroom if required). The twin bedroom has the facility to store one bed under the other, providing more space. There are extra wide doors throughout, as well as a low sill to the shower and a toilet with a handrail. The caravan is extremely comfortable with panel heaters in both bedrooms, as well as being a ‘winterised’ caravan. This makes an excellent choice for Spring and Autumn breaks.
Type D (No. 9) Willerby Granada Mk 5 (38ftx12ft)
This is the largest caravan we have, with 3 bedrooms, one double and two twins. This is truly a luxurious caravan, featuring lots of extras for added comfort and warmth. A shower room and separate toilet and wash basin, together with full gas central heating, as well as under floor insulation, make this a truly luxurious holiday home for a ‘home from home’ experience.

How to find us
If you travel by train, book to Falmouth Station and take a taxi to the farm. If you come by road (A39) from Truro to Falmouth, follow the brown international camping & caravan signs to the Hillhead roundabout, turn right, then straight across at the next mini roundabouts. Continue on for two miles to the Meanporth beach road down to the bottom of the hill, Pennance Mill Farm is immediately on your left. Watch out for the International Camping signs along the route.

Na samo 200 m uz prilazni put do Vizitorskog centra Specijalnog rezervata prirode Zasavica smešten je auto-kamp pod nazivom “CAMPING ZASAVICA”.
Kapacitet kampa je 42 mesta na kojima je obezbeđeno snabdevanje svakog mesta sa pijaćom vodom i strujom iz trenutno najsavremenijeg uređaja. Svako parking mesto je oivičeno stablima i posađenim cvećem. Na ulazu u kamp je recepcija opremljena telefonom, faksom, kompjuterom i paratećom opremom.
U sklopu “CAMPING ZASAVICA” su još i zajednička prostorija za druženje, kuhinja, vešeraj i sanitarni prostor.
Prostorija za druženje opremljena je klupama i stolovima, velikim LCD televizorom, DVD-om i video uređaj, velikim kaminom sa roštiljem,ložištem za kuvanje kotlića i prostor za pripremu hrane i pijaća voda, kao i satelitskom antenom i bežičnim internetom.
Kuhinja je opremljena sa šporetom, frižiderom i 4 sudopere.
Vešeraj raspolaže sa veš mašinom, mašinom za sušenje, lavaboom za rućno pranje rublja i prostorom za peglanje sa daskom i peglom.
Sanitarni prostor se sastoji iz tri podeljene celine. Muški, ženski toalet i toalet za invalide u potpunosti prilagođen njihovim potrebama i obezbeđenom pristupnom rampom. U svakoj od navedenih celina nalazi se poseban prostor za tuširanje, a u ženskom toaletu i prostor za presvlačenje beba.Takođe i u ženskom i muškom toaletu postoji po jedan toalet i umivaonik koji su prilagođeni deci. U svim navedenim celinama osvetljenje i voda se aktiviraju putem senzora.
Kamp raspolaže i sa hemijskim toaletom, spoljnim lavaboima za pranje obuće kao i prostorom za pražnjenje prljave vode iz auto-kuća i pranje vozila.
Ovako opremljen auto kamp kategorisan je sa tri zvezdice.

:: De camping is gelegen bij een berg met de naam Na Kopci vlak bij het plaatsje Vír. We hebben onze camping vernoemd naar deze berg, voorheen heette de camping autocamp "Jitrenka" (camping de Morgenster). De totale hoogte van de berg Na Kopci is ongeveer 870 meter. De camping ligt in een dal op een hoogte van ongeveer 440 meter in een bosrijke omgeving.
Het terrein van de camping is vlak, wat goed de mogelijkheid biedt voor het plaatsen van tenten, plattegrond_kleincaravans en campers. De ondergrond is gras en hard genoeg voor oprijden van auto's, caravans en campers. Indien nodig kunt u gebruik maken van elektriciteit via stroompunten langs het kampeerveld.Op de camping zijn 34 (2-4 persoons) trekkershutten geplaatst. Dit zijn kleine houten huisjes met daarin de nodige voorzieningen om de nacht door te kunnen brengen (tafel en bed). U kunt deze hutten huren (prijs inclusief linnengoed).
Sanitair (toilet en douche) voor de trekkershutten is centraal ondergebracht het toiletgebouw elders op het terrein. Door de aanwezigheid van de trekkershutjes met de speciaal daarvoor ingerichte, grote keuken en restaurant is het mogelijk groepen (tot 100 personen) op de camping te kunnen ontvangen.
Er zijn ook vier stenen gebouwen (groen) op het terrein, waarin 6 appartementen voor verhuur gerealiseerd zullen worden. Er zijn er nu 3 klaar en deze worden het gehele jaar door verhuurd. Het hoofdgebouw (geel), bestaat uit een restaurant met bar en biljart, toiletten, kantoor en recreatieruimte.
Tevens is er een overdekt terras bij met een grote openhaard. Op het terrein is een sanitairgebouw met (af)wasruimte en loosplek voor uw chemisch toilet (blauw). Voor de jeugd is er een trapveld, basketbalveld, jeu de boule, tafeltennis, speeltuin en voor de liefhebbers zijn in de recreatie ruimte een televisie videohoek met veel Disneyfilms en een internethoek met maar liefst 4 aangesloten computers.
